Xiaomi has kicked off the global rollout of HyperOS 3, beginning with the 15T and 15T Pro models in Europe. The new version of the Android-based platform is based on Android 16 and comes with the October 2025 security patch along with system improvements. The rollout will gradually extend to other areas in the next few weeks.
The news was shared through Xiaomi's official X account on October 25, indicating one of the company's most significant software giveaways since HyperOS was launched. Users of the 15T will get build OS3.0.3.0.WOEEUXM, whereas, users of the 15T Pro will get build OS3.0.4.0.WOSEUXM. The users can check manually for the update through Settings → About Phone → System Update.
Xiaomi is not following the usual strategy of updating its flagship devices first; on the contrary, it has given priority to the 15T series that falls within mid-range over the premium 15 and 15 Ultra models. Analysts predict this tactic could enable Xiaomi to receive early feedback on HyperOS 3 performance before it is made widely available. The Dimensity 9400+ chipset of the 15T Pro is the main platform to assess software performance across different hardware configurations.
HyperOS 3 is mainly about being smooth and functional rather than a completely new look. Users will be able to see more fluid animations, quicker touch response, and uninterrupted system navigation. A new function called “Hyper Island” combines the controls for media, notifications, and multitasking, and is aimed at making daily operations simpler.
The upgrade also improves connectivity between multiple devices, thus making interaction between phones, tablets, wearables, and smart home gadgets more engaging. Optimizations lead to lower power consumption during idle processing and quicker app startup, so the overall system is more efficient.
Xiaomi has unveiled a provisional plan for more devices. The new generation of HyperOS will probably start to come to the Xiaomi 15, 15 Ultra, Redmi Note 14, Poco F7, and Poco X7 models in November 2025. Besides, the Xiaomi 14 and Poco F6 series, along with other 2024 releases, are also expected to receive the upgrade at around December, the same year.
